Bei einer Ägyptenreise lassen sich Nilkreuzfahrt und Badeurlaub optimal miteinander kombinieren. Man kann beispielsweise eine 7-tägige Kreuzfahrt den Nil entlang genießen und dabei viele Kulturdenkmäler besichtigen. Meist beginnen sie in Luxor und enden am Nasser Stausee in Assuan. Danach bietet sich ein Badeurlaub am Roten Meer, z. B. in Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Marsa Alam oder Makadi Bay an.
